NMSU College of Arts and Sciences Recognizes Nicole Martinez

20150415_181350NMSU’s College Of Arts and Sciences held a reception last night to honor and recognize all of the agencies and businesses and individuals in Las Cruces and surrounding areas that have collaborated with the students and faculty on projects that improve that quality of life for everyone in our community. There were two students that spoke about how these projects and collaborations have inspired and motivated them, as well as members of the community, including MVCH’s Nicole Martinez who spoke about how invaluable the support from NMSU has been and truly is to our agency and our homeless community. It was another reminder for me of how fortunate Las Cruces is to have so many disciplined non-conformists willing to pull together their resources and solve as many problems as they can.
