Engineers Without Borders/ Student Volunteers

Saturday was another busy day at Camp Hope, with a large group student volunteers from Engineers Without Borders coming to help us clean up around MVCH campus. They removed a hefty debris pile of broken tile, cleaned up garbage and weeds, and helped dig out an irrigation pit and trough for the main water source in camp. They sure got a lot done in a couple of hours!

They always seem to bring an army of friends and family with them, and this time was no exception with an endless assortment of tacos with rice and beans and all the fixins, and home made cupcakes. It was good to see all their smiling faces and to catch up with Pastor Rodriguez. Another fantastice meal our homeless people definitely enjoyed!
