This year marks our third Christmas at Camp Hope, and was as special as ever because so many new supporters came out, as well as groups and families that have been here helping our homeless from the very beginning. Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming to keep track of all of these awesome people, but I hope to do them justice in expressing our agencies’ and the homeless’ gratitude for all the amazing generosity the good people of Las Cruces have bestowed upon us this holiday season. This spirit of giving has definitely touched the hearts of our community, and continues to inspire more and more folks to do what ever they can and look forward with us to 2014 as another year where we can continue to grow and make a real difference in the lives of our homeless together.
Thanks to all of you that came out and made a difference this year, and for your committment to making every season one of compassion and devotion for our homeless!
LC Custom Car Club, Las Cruces First Assembly, Landmark Church, St Albert the Great Newman Center, St Paul’s Methodist, Sierra Vista Church, Temple Beth-El, SW Hazard, NMSU, LC Knit Charm, DOH, Nila Matsler and family/friends, Robert Mecillas and family, and to every other person and group that I have not mentioned, every one of you are making a difference and showing other cities in our country what “REAL” community can become!
