The Optimist Club tuning up bikes and installing lights!

The Optimist Club, led by Donald Wilson, came out again this past Saturday as they did last November, to gear up the homeless with lights for their bikes and do general tune ups. They also had an obstacle course to teach road safety. After losing Terry this year in a hit and run, it gives us peace of mind to know that this group is devoted to coming out to our homeless to perform this very important service. Knowing that this kind of community outreach and prevention could save even just one life, makes the Optimist Club’s effort to protect our homeless that much more special.
