Taking the Good With the Bad-News That Affects Us

Today in the Las Cruces Sun News are two articles that about the impact of funding and resources for the homeless in the state of New Mexico. One is about a recent allocation of funding that has been awarded to Mesilla Valley Community of Hope for Veterans services. The other is about the fiscal crisis of Southwest Counseling, who are the main provider of mental health services for the homeless here and who may be closing its doors after 50 years after allegations of overbilling were made against 15 other agencies in the state.
