6th and 7th graders present Nicole James and Matt their donation

Thursday morning, St Lukes Healthcare Clinic Board member James Vonbehren, MVCH Executive Director Nicole Martinez and I headed over to the J Paul Taylor Academy to pick up the money some of their 6th and 7th grade students raised for Camp Hope as a school project. We were greeted by smiling faces and even given a tour of the facility. You could see how polite all the children were, grades K-7, and what a peaceful learning enviroment their school is. The children that introduced themselves to us and explained what aspects of our Camp’s re-zoning projects they would like to see their donation invested in, such as a solar charging station or a dog run, were well mannered and well spoken. It is such a pleasure to see young minds engaged in their own community and we at MVCH and Camp Hope are truly grateful for these students support.

THANKS TO THE STAFF AND STUDENTS OF J PAUL TAYLOR ACADEMY FOR YOUR EFFORT AND SUPPORT!
