“Breathing Under Water”

P1110159 (480x640)John introduced himself to us last August and proposed to do a documentary about Camp Hope for his project in his film class at NMSU and even wanted to organize a fundraiser as he is friends with several talented local musicians. Executive Director Nicole Martinez gave him the go ahead to do the documentary and he has been filming camp residents and staff of MVCH until recently. Last Friday he dropped off a copy of his Documentary- …….being homeless is like drowning, Camp Hope is like “Breathing Under Water”

We all think he has done a great job and are all grateful for his support and his work. And we hope that his documentary will reach a wider audience to help educate people and rally more support to help the homeless.

Thank you John, from all of here at Camp Hope and the Mesilla Valley Community of Hope!
