The Friday before Christmas Hillrise Elementary School invited MVCH Exec. Dir. Nicole Martinez and Camp Hope Outreach Coordinator Matt Mercer to pick up the items they had collected for their “Project Hope” winter drive for our Camp. It was awesome to see their shining faces and a joy to listen to how these amazing kids rallied together to help the homeless in Las Cruces. Not only did they collect a mountain of goods, clothing food hygiene products hand-made blankets camp gear and more, they also presented us with a check for a thousand dollars! WOW! Nicole and I were very impressed and tried to express to these children how greatly appreciated their efforts are and what our programs at MVCH are doing to help take care of the homeless and help folks to transition and improve their life conditions.

Thanks to all these super Kids and the faculty and staff at Hillrise Elementary for supporting Camp Hope and MVCH and the homeless of Las Cruces!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all your families and friends from Camp Hope!
