This year at Camp Hope was a cornucopia of food and blessings for us, starting out with a group from Temple Beth-El bringing an amazing breakfast, including bagels with Lox and a selection of egg casseroles. We even had a group from Las Cruces First Assembly Church with Pastor George serving up burritos and coffee on the front porch. At El Caldito Soup Kitchen they served a full ham dinner from 12pm -3pm. And around 4:30pm, MVCH Exec. Dir. Nicole Martinez brought her whole family to Camp, singing carols, with hot chocolate and cookies and a gift of a large cast iron camping dutch oven for us all to cook for each other with! Then at 5pm the women of Royal Road motorcycle gear, who are friends of Sully(a veteran who cooks for us and has been supporting us from the beginning) served up some really delicious home-made chicken soup with rice and dinner rolls. Just as the sun set, we all ended a great day and week long celebration of this holiday season with warm full bellies and warm hearts full of the spirit of friendship and community.

From our Camp Hope family to all of your friends and loved ones, have a safe holiday and very happy New Year! Blessings to ALL and thank you all so much for your support!
