Sully Brings Chili Con Carne

Sunday evening as the day began to cool off, Sully, one of our Camp’s favorite supporters, brought a couple of his buddies over to feed our residents. Chili con Carne, tortillas, sodas, and watermelon he kept cool in his fridge for three days (yum!) Simple and good, everyone enjoyed a good bowl of chili and definitely savored the chilled perfectly sweet watermelon. Having a Veteran take the time to do what ever he can to help us has a positive impact on the morale of our campers. That they see that even those that don’t have much still make the time to offer us what they can. Thank you Sully and your buddies for coming out and making the end of another hot day a good one!
