Hear Ye, Hear Ye.
The Las Cruces City Council has agreed to allow us to continue Camp Hope, as long as positive results are being achieved, while a longer term solution is sought. That means we will be here into the coming hot season. So based on a fine young man’s vision we are having a:
Camp Hope Donation Drive
An awesome intern who is working with the MVCH has intitiated a donation drive this Saturday, March 24th from dawn to dark, and we invite everyone to participate. Already some of the major stores in town have contributed because of this young man’s efforts. Won’t you please help?
Come around to the back of Mesilla Valley Community of Hope at 999 West Amadore Ave, we’d love to meet you!
Some of the types of things we need which would be very helpful are, multiperson tents, stakes, rope, tarp, summer sleeping bages, picni ware (bowls, cups, utensils) Summer clothes for men and women, hats, shoes, water bottles, toiletries, sunscreen, cold and flu medicine and just about anything you and your family might need coming into the summer months!
We would really like you to come visit with us and learn more about what we are trying to do for our community.
If you can’t make it by to visit and would like to help please contact contact Matt, vounteer camp manager) at 575-571-2087 or you can email at firstname.lastname@example.org
